Any major rebuilds etc?  I'm 1/10th the way there and looking for anything that I may need in the near future.

No serious problems at all... had a rear flat at 2K, another at 4K, then decided to keep the rear tire at 30psi.  I was running it too low and tearing the valve stem off the tube.

Caught a piece of construction metal in the rear sprocket and chipped a couple of teeth, so replaced the sprocket and chain.

One lazy kick and backfire crunched the sprague.  Removed it at 8,500.

I'll say that by reading here and then checking things on my bike, I've headed off a handfull of potential problems.  It's like having a bunch of folks looking over my shoulder... ;)

Congrats Mike, I just went past 7,000 miles this morning so your making me feel like a greenhorn. I think the more miles you put on these bikes the better they seem to run. Maybe its just psychological though. A friend of mine with an '06 Deluxe thought it went faster when he bought his leather jacket. I hope you have as much luck in the future.   Tony
