Hi guys/gals, can anyone recommend a mirror set for my 03' ES since the previous owner had installed the tiny poor quality rectangles? I am leaning toward the standard round models.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks Garbone, these were under consideration but i was concerned that they were too modern looking. How is the vibration factor?

I'd like to do a direct comparison to the Napoleons (available in most stores with no shipping added- but they cost twice as much)   Napoleons look similar, but have a different rubber-mounted system.  Bar-end mirrors also act like bar-end weights, so they hslp dampen vibration.  I have the Napoleons on all my bikes.

I have the same mirrors as garbone and they are great for checking your elbows. :'(

I purchased the round chrome mirrors (product number Z91009) from our host. They work fine, and look good, as well.

An easy fix for that would be to take a few inches off those gangling arms of yours, or stop leaning forward trying to get more speed from the mule.

I like the stock ones on my '06 Deluxe, which are probably what was stock on an '03 one as well.  I like the look of some of the other ones, but I'm not sure I'd be able to see as well, since they all appear to have shorter stems than mine.  The long stems really make it so I can see past myself without much effort.  They do tend to vibrate a fair amount once you get going very fast.  For me, I can still tell if there is a vehicle behind/next to me or not, it's just that the details get pretty wobbly if I'm going fast.  The bar end ones are cool, but it would take me some getting used to having to look down at my mirrors.  Here's the kind I have:

Really? I can actually see behind me with the bar-ends. The PO of my bike had put the small rectangular mirrors on, I could only see my arms with those. I mean they are fine arms but...

I wouldn't trade my bar-ends for anything but better bar ends.

I use the rectangulars and added small spot mirrors.  Work okay but will add Napoleons when I get the $ saved up.  Had a knock off copy of those and were much better..but couldn't remove the glass to tighten the heads.  Watch what you get on Flea-Bay.  Will.

I would fully endorse the Tanax Napoleon bar end mirrors. I feel they are the best of their type in value and quality. They use a rubber fitting that expands in the bar end when tightened. This also acts as a damper. Little to no vibration can be detected when stopped or moving. You have to do a little research to find them, some European shops carry them or possibly find them on the web.

Thanks to who replied. I like the idea of the bar end mirrors but i think i will follow Eamon's advice and stick to the stock round black type.
Cheers to all.

I still have my round originals off of an 06' in black. Same ones that Eamon posted a pic of.  Yours if you want them free of charge just pay the shipping Bro.
Nah, It's supposed to sound like that.
