Well, my Brothers, the Premium Cables are worth the additional cost.
Long live the Bullets and those who ride them!

Keep the shiny side up, the boots on the pegs and best REgards,

On my '07 iron-lung, I've adjusted the clutch once, at about 500 miles.  Haven't touched it in the last 8500... (stil looking for the "fingers crossed" thing).  Shifts fine, no clutch slip.  I've been using a half-quart of 10w40 in the primary (usually) but switched to ATF after removing the electric start.  Seems to work even better, but that may be due to cleaning the clutch discs in ATF when I had the primary off...

My 2009 AVL is super easy to get into neutral, at a stop or moving, either from first or second gear downwards, hot or cold.  I guess I got lucky?

The unlucky part is that, almost EVERY TIME I try to shift into 4th, it doesn't "go far enough" and I end up in the false neutral between third and fourth, and I have to essentially double-shift it every time unless I want to hear the engine rev up as I try to pull away.

Ditto, and my tech tells me that it's normal. I just need to press it a little further.
