We can all do our bit to free up CMW disc space by cleaning out our IM in boxes.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if the IM in/out boxes auto deleted after so many days.

No matter where you go, there, you are.

I can do without campfire talk, but I have to agree with Clamp on this one.
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

I agree with both Clamp and Vince in this thread.  While the discussions here cover any number of debatable current events and other topics, and can also get pretty charged at times, all the posters here are intelligent, reasonably respectful, and expletives and other such world-changing excitations are rare.  But I do remember once, after a late night downtown, I was involved in a debate on this site that must have been unacceptable.  Later, when I tried to review the content of that discussion, it had been erased.  Wish I could remember what we were arguing about--I'll bet it was interesting!!

But I often appreciate the spirited debate when it occurs, and use the freedom Clamp discussed to charge right in (as is my hardheaded nature) and take a stance.  We all have different experiences and guidelines that determine the choices we make in life, and I get a kick out of hearing arguments from the "other side" of an issue.  I might not appreciate some (much) of what I see and hear in the world, but does that mean I should be able to interfere with freedoms that "offend" me?  I might be in a distinct minority, but I say let the debates continue!!

I didn't know where to post this;  is it political, controversial, or verboten?  But,,,on the morning news  a couple of days ago, (national), in a video story about the Taliban's latest transgressions in Afghanistan, I could have sworn those guys were riding Enfields.  It was only a front shot, and very quick at that, but thats what it looked like.
Did anybody else see this?  Is there dealerships in Islamabad?
All of them, (a group of 8 or 10), had weapons slung on backs, and looks like the helmut laws are pretty lax there.
But the media what it is, how do we really know what we're looking at?
Just wondering.

I think Camp Fire talk had its fire removed, just old embers now, and allot of dust.

I tried to research the Enfield connection to the Taliban but only came up with Chinese Honda clones ,125 cc being busted by A10'S . Well more like annihilated .

Hey Dogbone,

We've both probably been ejected from finer establishments than this one! ;D

i scanned through the first three pages on campfire talk, 60 topics, and see one that is political. that's 1.6% of the conversations. one post does not make the bell curve. that's the problem with politics in america: lying down for the 1.6% that cannot even make the second deviation

From an economical point, capitalistically speaking, and from a truly logical assumption: Campfire Talk must have some value to Kevin ,or he would gotten rid of it long ago.
That's your world as I see it.
