Someone enlighten me please.  Saw this C-5 on Ebay and there was a question about the recall.  The dealer that is selling it said that, yes, the recall work had been done and it was ready to go.  I thought the recall pertained to only the G-5.  Did I miss something?

Heck of a good deal, $6395 and the guy will ship free anywhere in CONUS.

As far as 3rd and 4th gear go I think the US C5s already have the improved gears.

That is a good price with the included shipping.
Thinking of adding to the stable?

I think that's the same dealer I first spoke to, he added nearly $800 in dealer prep to the cost. He didn't bother to mention that in the ad, You may want to check it out further.

I'm not commenting on this particular ad, but I thought I'd just add that I would be wary of any dealer that is NOT charging for prep work.  It might just mean that the bike has not actually been properly prepped!  It is worth the money to have the bike setup properly.

Well, like I said, ,y comment wasn't directed at that particular ad.  Just saying proper setup is important and worth paying for.

My dealer received notice from Enfield of an offering of the transmission "upgrade to "all US C5's"  and gave me a cll immediately. Not an official recall, but suggests that they may NOT all have the upgrade coming into the country.  Mine, in fact, did not and has been "upgraded" by M&S on warrantee, with no cost to me. That fella is a first class sheister if he is trying to charge for the work.
