I LOVE my drum.... It is a beauty! I will never change it into a Disk...
Yes, the Disk is more better in braking and it is worth it.
But it will be purely up to your priority.
For me, I'll keep the drum and will not speed!

There is another option though, you can modify the drum to enhance its ability.
not as much as the Disk but still much better that the drum.

I've read it sometime before but disregarded it since it was easier for me just to not speed. Will search for it and when found will post it here.

I keep the drum on my roadster Bullet, for looks.
I have the disc on my Cafe Racer build, for braking performance needed on a faster bike.

On my military I will be leaving the drums on her, but I might get the disc kit as a gift for my Pops' 06 classic.  I just think that it really needs to be drums on the MIL for the look. Plus I ride slow and safe...
