Sorry guys if this is obvious, but I'm trying here. When I roll off the throttle I get a weird hickup/tick sound out of the exhaust. Any thoughts? When I have some power in everything seems fine. Thanks for the help!!!!

It's a high pitched noise. Sounds like a horrible bird chirp kind of thing.

I used to get a strange sound like that when my bike was new (2004).  It went away after I changed to a free flow header and silencer.  The bike in stock configuration runs very lean, and I always thought that had something to do with it.   Mine would always sound off when it was hot.
Is your bike still stock?  What year?  Any of this ring a bell.

Sounds like an air leak at the pipe/head joint. This would also explain why it went away when Leonard changed his header.
