Ok, you know I have to ask this every couple of months......what's the status of the TVS bikes coming to the States?

I can't find anything on the innertubes about it, so I come to the source!

From what I understand Kevin got it through all the DOT testing and then the company made the motor a bit larger.
So now they'll have to start all over with the testing process.
Cool little bike.

really, so we're going to be getting the 180cc size then? i hope TVS is bringing the 160cc size bike stateside too...

i also hope TVS puts EFI into their smaller bikes and imports 'em. they're great starter bikes and i would love to get one for use as a rat bike. i'm already planning on buying one for my younger sister when she's old enough.

btw, this is TVS's Indian site: http://www.tvsmotor.in/index.asp

Aha! Indeed it's me Unc E. I lurk around here a bit, someday I may own one of these bikes.....anyway the TVS is a little 180cc one lunger from an Indian company who used to make bikes for Suzuki.

If they sell cheap enough here it will make a good little starter/commuter bike.
