Why would it exclude California? No Arnie fans on the committee?

Has to do with emissions, I'm pretty sure.

I sang in Graz, Arnie's hometown, two years ago.  The gym where he first trained is right across from the main train station.  Lovely little town.  And a specialty of the region is Kürbiskernöl (pumpkinseed oil), which is think and green and delicious!

California has a thing called C.A.R.B.  All new motor vehicles sold in California have to meet C.A.R.B. standards and be certified by California.
Certification is difficult and expensive.
C5's are not yet certified.
No matter where you go, there, you are.

A friends' friend wanted to bring their trials RE to the US when they moved but ended up having to sell it before as they were going to Cali and had this problem.

But, is it possible to buy out of state and just ride her back into Cali?

Or will you be shot on sight?

I don't know all the details, but from what I've heard, the bike must meet certain requirements for older age and have over a certain amount of miles on it. This precludes buying a new bike and riding it in to Cali..

So if I win this I just have to keep it under 45mph for the first 500 miles of the 2139 mile  ride home?   ;D
