I think it would be a fun ride ,oneway.

If I came I would be on foot,( rental car) not much of legend that way or very cool.Besides I have to work that week.

Thanks for the thought.

I plan on cuming down after werk on Thursday; I should be there b4 dark. A ride on Friday sounds Great. Leonard-  I'm still planning on putting the "Flatside" on yours. Friday should be a good chance for you to give it a go as I should already have the ole micarb already put back on mine.  CJ- sounds like you may get there first so you'll have to drink that swill that Slam's serving till I get there with the cooler. Any word from Bob Bezin?

Is that flatside going to bolt right on?  Don't want to be wrenching while we could be riding.

Well hell; I thought we'd do it Thursday nite afer a few beers....

yea; it mounts on studs, put in the cable and have another beer...
or we could just visit and watch CJ do it...  yea, that's what we'll do!

A flatslide eh?
Is that the thing that's got the rubber hose that runs up to the gobar?

I'm thinking we'd better not mess with Leonard's gobar...

How many plan to be there on a RE? This will be my first trip to this rally and I hope to take picture of lots of Enfields.
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

I will!
The RE rally's are usually pretty small. Maybe that's the charm of it all.
Most of the people are repeat offenders so over the years it's something to look forward to seeing them again.
You know Slam so can just imagine what it's like at 2 in the morning. And Skip that owns the campground is someone you'll remember too. Awesome pork chef.
Can't wait myself.

Me too.
Living in Michigan the riding season is coming to an end and this is the last big hurrah for me.
Don't know if it's the ride, the rally, the people or what but it's become my favorite event of the year and I really look forward to it every year.
After that a long winter and wait for the CMW rally to start the riding season off right.
Yup, it's become a RE world for me! LOL

Lots of rain gear.
A ride in the rain is better than no ride at all.
It was 42 out on my way to work this morning.
Soooooooo I guess a cold ride in the rain is going to have to be better than no ride at all.

Besides the way our press has been lying to us for years. It'll probably be 75 and not a cloud in sight.

It seems life is conspiring to keep me away from the rally.  I'll have to ride up early Saturday morning and leave that evening. That's not much rally time but I'll have a few hours to meet folks and look at bikes.
