I got the call from Steve at M&S Cycle that the bikes are in the country (which I knew) but it will be shipped off to the dealer Monday or Tuesday of next week!  The C5 is soooooo close!

That's great news! Bill at Interstate motorcycles says I may get to pick mine up next Wednesday, ;D
On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

Well, I'm not really local, I'm 150 miles south of Rolla in Hardy Arkansas.

Keep your fingers crossed, toss a pinch of salt over your shoulder and sprinkle a little beer on the garage floor where the bike will sit - and hope that the fine fellows in Customs see it all our way. There was SOME sort of flap brewing over the WOODEN crates - they are inspected by the Department of Agriculture. What in the Wide, Wide World of Sports they have to do with the importation of motor vehicles into the country, I cannot understand .... ( actually I DO understand that they are looking for foreign "bugs" that can live in the wood - but it still drives me NUTS when the new bikes are close enough to smell!!) I just hope that I get to see one sooner or later ..... sigh ..... :'(
Spare the pig iron - spoil the part!

Fingers are crossed, salt is sprinkled and beer is poured. Are they still hung up in customs?

I heard the first shipment won't spread very far, but a second is soon behind. The wife hopes her teal machine be on the second.

As I have mentioned before on the forum recently the C-5's are in and are in the process of being shipped to dealers.
