Does anybody know if there is a simple bolt-on highway peg setup for an RE?

I once saw pics of a set made from rebar. Bout 20 inches long, had a plate welded in the center to make it mountable to the front downtube using U-bolts. Painted black...
looked good.

That sounds like what I'm looking for. I want a fairly short bar, with the pegs at the ends foldable, so that when folded, they are hardly noticable, and extended, will let me stretch out on long rides.

Hey !  Dennis Kirk has a frame mount hi-way bar.  I ran it until I got my guards, and was great.   Part # 50-1638.  $ 92.99
