Hey All,

You hack drivers, what seats do you have on your bike? Been thinking of going solo but not sure how well that works w/a hack since having to get up and move so much when making turns.

So...what all are you sitting on.

Stock seat.  I don't find it uncomfortable.

Gromit,  I don't have a hack on my RE but I do have a Solo seat..  As far as movement goes the solo should be just as good if not better,  I have mine set up where it sits lower than stock and seat itself is narrower in the front.  This I believe allows a slightly better range of motion.

I would recommend a  solo any day, as I find the sprung seat much better on rides over 30 minutes.  After about 2 weeks that stock sucker felt like a brick.  You could always try one and switch back.

I have a solo seat on my Ural, rather than the bench, and have no problems getting my behind off the seat in turns.  Don't know if this translatees to the RE, but FWIW....

I took the 70's style stock seat off my military hack and dropped on the old fashion solo seat.
Made the bike look 1000000000% better!
That's just me
