I rode the G5 up to the BMW dealer this morning. I had some parts to pick up (more on that later). The usual crowd gathered as the shop employees were arriving at work. Most were pretty informed about the bike, being in the industry but were curious to see what the bike looked like in the physical. For the most part the nods and grins were favorable.

The ride home last night was delightful. This morning the wind was strong and gusty making for a somewhat less idlyic ride. I'm still keeping it slow as it is not yet fully broken in. With each ride the response and power "feel" better. I can't wait to see how it runs in the 50+ MPH range.

Back to the parts. I needed a thermostat for the beemer. Something we'll never need for our Bullets. The old phrase "Bring more wallets" came to mind as the register rang up a total of $52.52 USD FOR A THERMOSTATE! sheeh!

Well, back to work.
