On the eighth day God created the C5, and it was better looking than anything on the planet.

Sounded like he scraped his muffler on that second vid. Just one more reason to get that up swept one.

Yes - that or the foot brake  :-\ - this bike looks & sounds much better in the flesh than these poor quality clips suggest. I agree that the uplift pipe is probably a better option - careful of those right handers ---

Could be the center stand scraping.  I had to take my rubber "stop" out to raise the stand up.  It worked ~

Uncle Ern - have you ridden a C5 or seen it up close (or seen the pics)? The brake pedel lever is a lot lower than the centre stand & I reckon would be the first thing to scrap on a tight right hander  ::) ::)

These videos don't do the bike justice. I'm planning on getting a camera mounted up and taking some video to post up..

Once I get my bike back and weather permits of course

I agree James - you would have thought they could have produced some better 'publicity' video than this. They don't do the bikes justice.

It would be good to get some of your own footage done - just need the bike back on the road  ;)
Cheers

Looks like you actually scrapped the exhaust on one of them?  Nice video's, though would like to see some more close ups of the bike.

When is your bike due back?  Any news on it yet?

Referring back to the videos at the beginnning of this thread, it took me a minute to realize why the rider looked like he was lost.  I don't know about you Brits--riding and driving on the wrong side of the road!!   :-\

It's being taken direct to RE as the problem is serious enough and the engine new enough to warrant a full investigation.

Pretty gutted about it.
