I'm due to pick up my C5 this Saturday and I'm thinking about fitting a Scottoiler. This device was brilliant on my T'Bird almost eliminating chain adjustment in 10,000 miles.

Problem is the EFI doesn't have a vacuum take off on the inlet tract, it would be easy enough to fit one I guess but do you think there’s any point? The modest power output shouldn’t give the chain a hard time and with a centre stand it should be easy to look after.

On the other hand the chain size will be chosen to match the power output (i.e. small) and big singles aren’t chain friendly.

Have any other Bullet owners bothered with a Scottoiler?

Doesn't the C-5 come with an o-ring chain? If so don't you lube it differently than a non o-ring type?
