Sent my $$ to CMW on Monday for my reservation.
Got my round trip tickets on the Badger Carferry to get across the lake.
Got a motel reservation for Wednesday night on the way there.
Trying to get a luggage rack / saddlebag mount on the G5 so I can pack it up.
Put some new space age tires on the bike.
Got to get the throttle lock and highway pegs on it too!
Yup, I'm not getting too excited am I?

Sure will, I was just out in the garage working on the pegs. On the 99 I bolted them up flat on the motor mount. On the G5 they'll hit the exhaust pipe like that so I'm making a pair of 1/2" spacers to get em out of the way.
I think it will work out good and I can still put em back on the 99 minus the spacers.

Hmm, the cup holder. Where's that gonna go?

Blue Ridge Wheeltor, I hope the snow will be gone by then. But then we all got snow tires up here and it just adds to the sport.

Looks like a REcall might change some REunion plans for me.
Been ignoring the rest of the herd trying to get the G5 good and broke-in for the trip. The 01 has 507 miles on the new engine and the 99 has about 150 miles on a top to bottom re-build.
The Trump would turn me into a quadriplegic and that leaves the...........
I don't know if I could take the heat 2 years in a row.

It will only be a decent rally if you show up. EVERYONE wants to witness you burning your pants.in the campfilre. We will be happy to give you a one time pass for your ride as well. I am in Bismark ND at present and there are frost warning for Dickenson ND which is not too far away.
