Well, in my estimation, it's still showing the signs of being lean at large throttle openings.

It's showing richer at smaller throttle openings, and running fine there.

So, I say it still needs more main jet.
3/4 throttle and higher is main jet territory.
If I were experiencing those symptoms, I'd throw in the 270 main.
With the bigger main jet, you might be able to drop the needle down some, and run less rich in the mid-throttle.
Make sure that you aren't getting any holes or tears in your manifold rubber, with all this on-and-off with the carburetor. If you get an air leak, everything will seem wrong.

I'm not sure if using the non-resistor plug would have any effect. I never tried using a non-resistor plug on my Bullet. So, I don't know about that.
