Does anyone know where I can get some Beston Style grips (or something similar? football grips maybe) for the Bullet? The RE online store is out of stock and they aren't sure they can get them anymore. What size bars are on the bullet? I don't have a micrometer for an exact measurement.

I love these for the new Bonnevilles, and had them on my old triumph, but the bars are a different size...

Thanks

The Bullet bars are 7/8".  The grips you are looking for are available from numerous sources.

Perhaps one of the U.K. websites have them. The Brits seem to be into the vintage bike thing in a big way.l

Your bars are 7/8 inch. Those grips are for 1 inch bars. I dont think they make them that will fit your bars......Dew.

I tried a set from JC Whitney but they were too long for my bars. The curves stopped the controls from moving in far enough to fit them with my bar-end mirrors. I'm running some foam rubber ones now that are shaped like the bestons.

We either sell or used to sell Beston grips at a very reasonable price. I have to admit they are not in our online store. I have not been in the office to check and see if this is an oversight. Call us at 800-201-7472 and we'll see.
