Just read your entire trip report, very well written and a pleasure to read.  You and your wife have had a wonderful adventure that you will remember forever.
Did you read your afterthought correctly that you hadn't added any oil during your trip?  Too bad about the sprag, it seems to happen too often on the Electra.

My wife and I drove the opposite route in '92.  Your story brings back a lot of memories.

Not to use any oil on such a trip with a new bike is amazing to me  :)  Good luck with that sprag.
