As the subject title illustrates, I'm concerned whether this new UCE will mark the end of the Military model, or if it might just take a while for a Military UCE to be built.  I'm certainly glad I bought my Military at the time I did, but would hate to see this model phased out with the newer UCE. Any ideas?

I suspect that it depends on how popular the military is/was overall. If it was very popular, as I think it is, then one would expect it to be on the horizon. IMO

Not to worry, it is the first or second best seller depending. It will be with us for a long time.
