When I bought the 2013 Bullet, I had jumped the gun and bought a new Carberry Vibration Plate and gasket before even taking delivery of the bike.

Well, I must have gotten a good one, because everyone who has ridden this particular bike has had zero complaints about vibration.

So, I no longer have a need to keep it around.

Brand new, never mounted, with a gasket. $80 shipped in the lower 48 states. Anywhere else, you'll have to pay for the ride.

    It "Can" be done without it. You "Could put a screwdriver or prybar behind it and tap the loosened bolt with a hammer, moving the pry tool of choice to various locations behind the magneto as you go, BUT you DO risk the chance of damaging the magneto and/or the bolt and/or threads, etc.

The service manual for my C5 (page 05-16) specifies the use of tool No. ST-25128-2 to remove the Magneto.
The manual assumes you have the head removed and the con rod locked to prevent rotation of the crank while removing the nut.
A good strap wrench (or large enough rod passed through one of the holes in the magneto and carefully seated on the engine casing) can do the same without removal of the head. I've done this a few times with no problems.

Per the manual the lock nut is only torqued to 35ft-lbs/4.8kgM), but the Magneto tends to stick to the tapered and keyed shaft after the nut is removed, so the puller tool is very helpful to prevent any damage to the aluminum engine casing from prying with a rod or screwdriver.
Light tapping with a rubber mallet can loosen the mag from the shaft, but I recommend the tool.
