Here is a link to a useful article regarding how to clean and care for both your helmet and your face shield:

For reasons I don't understand, hydrogen peroxide seems to dissolve bug guts better than plain water.

If I don't have a lot of bug guts on my face shield I use distilled water and a microfiber cloth to clean it.

If there are a lot of bug guts on it I use hydrogen peroxide and the microfiber cloth.

Face shield? I just spit out the stingers.

So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.
