Nice to see some one playing with their GT.
I have to say one of the things I really liked about the GT was it's flexibility. I know some see it as only a cafe racer but I see it as a great base for an adaptable motorcycle. I have mine as a cafe racer ATM. But have plans for an off road trim like "Denali GTX 535" or "Dirty Duck" and also an adventure touring trim for longer trips. The basic design is so sound that quite radical styles can be created with very little work. The only thing that sticks out as a big issue is the rather hard suspension.

Many new bikes are like custom built spaceships. Making changes is a huge undertaking. The GT can be changed in a day.

I have a couple of GTs set up for touring. I liked the bike but not the cafe racer style. I put high bars and a small screen on them. One bike is a single saddle with panniers and a top box.It is used for long distance touring and has higher gearing.
The second has a dual seat, top box and standard gearing. It is used for two up touring. Both go well but are not autobahn burners. Good for touring the lakes ,the highlands, Yorkshire Dales etc.
The forum is a pain to use. No punctuation or it goes to Database error. Often the verification box has lines through it so you cannot make out the letters

There have been quite a few complaints about this, I gather it has been referred to the admins. We also lost the picture gallery some time back.

Im in the U.K. If you put in any commas etc. it bounces your post. I suspect a lot of people just get bored and go do something else. Like riding their Enfields which is much more productive.

I have found that I have no problem posting if I type my entire message in the box. But if I cut and paste something I end up in the penalty box, instead.  Let me see if it likes a few more commas today: ,,,

Yup, no problem with commas.  ;)

Looking good! The frame of the GT is so much better than the Bullet's, this is a good choice for an off road set up.
What adapter are you using for the handlebars?

I think it looks grand, Chuychacon. It certainly looks the business for getting off the beaten track and seems to have been done in a workmanlike enough manner that it wouldn't be out of place on a showroom floor. Seriously, it looks like something the factory could have cobbled together. Well done, sir.
So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.
