Hello friends

Today I have observed rust on the front disc brake rotors inside so gone to the Royal Enfield dealer they checked the part and send it to the Area Service Manager after inspection they observed that rust is present and its manufacturing defect as the older disc rotors dont have the internal parts painted that's why they keep rusting and company has modified the new disc rotors and applied black paint on the inside may be in few days I will be getting my new disc rotor replaced

Common on non floating Harley discs also so I would just think it's normal. Surprising to me RE isn't just saying, tough, live with it.  it's my understanding that higher grades of stainless disc brake material are produced from a layering process with inner layers not being as pure, and that it's mostly to stabilize and prevent warping.

edit: looks dang good though and I'm glad they're doing it!

Nothing functional to worry about with a tiny bit of surface rust. It would be easy enough to hide with a dab of rust converter/black paint just for aesthetics.

That's what RE has done they applied black paint on the inside where there is rust the new discs internal part is much smoother than the one without paint and I am happy RE has agreed to replace the front disc rotor without any drama

Bikes from the first shipment I saw at Euro Cycle Vegas had the shock snubbers installed but the inner disc edges weren't painted.

The bike I bought yesterday from AZ Cycles Scottsdale is from the second shipment just arrived and has the inner disc edges painted also,

along with the ecu re-flash
