2015 RE Continental GT for sale
4800 miles

$2500 negotiable

I'm selling to pick up something completely different.  I'm buying an electric Zero SR and can't keep the Continental or I would. If you know anyone interested who might be interested, let them know.

Most parts are sourced from Hitcocks
Aftermarket parts galore...
Aftermarket header
Aftermarket exhaust
Lithium battery
Upgraded coil and platinum plug
520 chain with corresponding cogs
GT heel guards
Aftermarket tail light
Aftermarket mirrors
LED headlight

Also comes with probably five or six oil filter kits and maybe two gallons of oil for the bike.  I also have most of the original parts if someone wants to bring it back to stock.

If anyone knows someone interested let me know.  Otherwise, by the end of March, I will donate the bike to charity.  I assume they can get a few hundred dollars for a running motorcycle.  If anone knows any motorcycle foundations or safety courses I would like to donate to something like that but there's always veterans in need.

If you donate it, be aware of your tax liability on actual value vs what they sell it for!

United States, Illinois sadly :'(

I'm not worried about the tax liability because I'm to lazy to itemize my expenses.  I would just donate it to get it out of my parking spot and replace it with a Zero(I won't claim the tax break).  Really I'm looking for somebody who wants parts or aftermarket parts but really this bike would be great for a new rider.

Unlike electric cars, electric motorcycles like the Zero are no longer eligible for a 10% IRS tax credit if purchased this year or last year.   :(

oh, I meant I won't claim the tax write off for the donation.  You can only claim a donation if I itemize and I'm not doing that.  I think what's crazy is every state is slightly different on their incentives but Illinois has nothing.

It's not crazy. The alternative is even MORE across-the-board Federal control of your tax money and your ride. The Feds want total control of what and how you ride and I'm sure you don't want that. They alReady control too much. At least we still have some small power in our States' laws. We have zero with the Fed government.
