Ah, the good old days when car dealerships didn't have to worry about lawyers or public shaming.  This guy was located just a few miles down the road from where I grew up.  He was pretty bad, but there were worse dealers at the time, such as Gateway Chevrolet in Daly City, where my dad bought a used 1949 Chevy coupe, only to find out later that the differential was filled with a mixture of oil and sawdust to keep its mechanical problems quiet. When my dad returned to Gateway to complain, they had a couple of large goons show him the door.  >:(  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vh3Di3LY6Ns

Here is what my youngest brother had to say about this dealership:

My first car ( 1976)  was 1969 GTO i bought from the used car dealership in San Bruno, Ca. I went there with my dad and he helped me buy if for $500! Turned out later the car and most all of the others on the lot were stolen from southern California by the owner of that shady dealership. I never got the pink slip as you can imagine and in the end i did find a buyer who was a high school buddy and would pay me my $500 back (lost all my improvement $$) and he dealt with the DMV red tape.  So fast forward to 2018 and i just ran into him at our high school 40th reunion. He said he kept the GTO and passed it along to his son now.  Go figure that one!!

I saw a lot of crazy car ads on TV when I lived in Oakland/San Francisco '57, '58 & '59. I think a lot of them were done live so they're not "there" any longer.

The word-of-mouth story about that video is that it was done live and the salesman was somewhat disgruntled.   ::)  Needless to say that was his last day on the job.  ;)

With all of that swearing that fellow would be perfect for a modern "reality" show.   ::)

The Winnebago looks pretty comfortable. Kind of like rolling around in your living room.  And no seat belts needed.  ;)

Here in Phoenix, we used to have a used car lot with a big sign out in front.  They sold really cheap used cars.
The sign said:

MIRACLE MOTORS
IF IT'S A GOOD CAR, IT'S A MIRACLE

The strange part is a lot of people didn't seem to understand what they were reading so they actually bought the clunkers from the place.   :o ;D :o
