I just heard on the news that the UK Parliament today voted down, by a large margin, the Brexit/EU agreement negotiated by PM May. This means that the UK will drop out of the EU at the end of March without there being any agreement regarding economic, travel, or political arrangements, between countries in Europe and the UK. This really has the potential to affect everyone in the UK in a bad way if a solution can't be found somehow. It might even start a worldwide recession.   :(

I bet just getting European motorcycles and parts into the UK this summer is not going to be any fun, just to name one relatively minor issue.   ???

The border won't be so smooth between Ireland and UK.
I wish them well, but I do enjoy unhindered travel in the EU.

For their sake I hope for a new vote.

A new vote would require the two main parties to reach and agreement to do so and the way things are going lately in the UK and the US, it seems like everyone wants to dig a hole and jump into it in the hopes that the other guy will get squashed when the bomb finally goes off.  :(

We are apparently living in "interesting times".  :'(

I'm pretty sure we've got a lock on that claim...

Here's a vote for the Brit's to get out of the EU.

To have a bunch of unelected boobs on the main continent telling GB what to do and how to run their economy is ridiculous.
As with all big government organizations, their prime directive is to make money for themselves and to increase their control over the people under them.

Not everyone in the UK wants to leave, myself included. MEPs are elected so they are not a 'bunch of unelected boobs' as you put it.

I don't wish to argue / discuss 'brexit', just getting a couple of facts straight.

I don't know if it would work in the UK, but here in the U.S. what we need to do to solve our political differences between our two parties that can't agree on anything is to bring back dueling.  I am thinking shotguns at 10 paces.  ;)

For the benefit of many of my fellow countrymen and others who care about as much about the carryings on of the British Royal Family as they do about turnip prices in rural Ruritania, when the Queen asks, "Shall I get Philip to drive you home?", it references her 97 year old husband Prince Philip's recent driving accident where he plowed into another car, resulting in the hospitalization of both its occupants.

So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.
