If you need advice on Rolex, your neighbor Paul Pluta aka Archie Luxury might be helpful.

latest news on the 650's as of yesterday. 300 arrive next month and 260 are pre-sold
at the moment there appears to be only two colours arriving white in the gt and orange in the continental
I can pre-order for a $2000 deposit different dealer to the one I pre-ordered 8 months ago
any fancy colours including chrome will arrive in the april shipment
it was mention we will only get a short supply of bikes as they are geared up to freight in big numbers to the usa
all dealers will be going to a pre-launch release in melboune vic in roughly a week.
not too sure on the idea of an orange one BUT I've never vied a continental any-way

CHROME!  Wait for it.  Just three months.  You can do it.

I'm sort of liking on that Chrome one too. Frankly, seeing as how WildBill must basically qualify as a "Royal Enfield independent distributor" at this point, if only by virtue of having bought his dealer at least one boat, I'm sort of surprised that dealer didn't try to pull a few strings to bring one of those 2019 chrome babies in for him just a little early. Just sayin': If anyone deserves a little extra schmooze from Chennai, it's our Bill.

So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.

The Rickmans were often orange.

You could always just buy an original 60s Interceptor of course :D

I am leaning towards the white GT as almost all of my bikes have been, or are, black and red (red hair and black leather, my favorite color scheme - Richard Thompson), and I am on a white bike kick. I like the chrome, but not that big price jump, and my Classic is chrome, so I think it will be white. I do have an offer in for a friends BMW K65 so if he agrees it could change my RE 650 plans.

Do you mean K75?  If so that's a wonderful motorcycle.  I bought one of the first K100s (to slow down from a Suzuki GS1100) and it worked in that it took several years for the CHP to catch me whereupon I discovered the speedometer was reading 8 mph too low.  Send pictures.

I believe our man meant to say "R65". This is what my 1994 K75 looks like, ABS, fuel injection and all.

Back in the late 70s I used to ride a white bikini faired Suzuki and had bought a matching white helmet. All went nicely with my blue wet weather riding gear.

I always thought it was odd how I seemed to be getting a lot more respect from other traffic until a friend pointed out white bike + blue riding gear from a distance looked very like the highway patrol .

Guaire -- nope 9fingers meant K75 just as I thought (I practiced where the typo might has come from).  So he will be joining you with a low mileage 1991 K75S.  Lucky guy.

Oh man, I LOVES ME those Honda Step-Throughs! And next time anyone goes on about needing some lumbering trust fund baby's ride that costs the equivalent of a year's tuition at Yale in base trim, just like Ewan and Charlie, just tell them about my hero, Ed March. Apparently, he has the BMW Direktorat in a state of panic and despair.
