https://powersports.honda.com/2019/super-cub-c125-abs.aspx

Does a Honda step-through need ABS?  My 90 didn't. Here is another photo of when I rode it to California's Big Basin State Park sometime in 1969.

Well, actually I was riding my brother's Honda 90, which I managed to get up to 65 mph during the 60-mile trip (downhill, of course).  No rev limiters back in those days.  ;) I hesitate to guess what rpm that poor engine was operating at.  :o

Regarding that advertised price for the new Honda 125, I bet the San Francisco Honda dealer charges $1,000 over the MSRP for that model.   :(

i think the super cub arrives in aust with the price tag of roughly AU$6100 or the price of a good cheaper watch ;)
I actually had a cub myself back in the late '60's. the very first bike I bought.
looking back I think it was the 50cc version and I bought it second hand in Sydney aust for $50
I use to ride it around the paddocks. I think in those days they advertised them as a 200 mile per gallon bike -4;5 litres to our gallon

Apparently, he has the BMW Direktorat in a state of panic and despair.

As an aside... I wonder how many subtitled parodies that footage has been used for?  I've liked every one I've seen, so far...

I sit on a 150 postie 7 hours a day. They are underpowered with an agricultural gearbox but are well suited for a postie role. They also make an annoying vibration. I cant wait to get of it at the end of the day and will never ride one out of work!!!! Someone else can do the postie challenge rally. They make a bullet seem powerful with a much more appealing thump.
Stick with the bullet single.

In an attempt to bring this thread back on track, may be the RE Int650 is not for me either :-\. Booked mine in the silver shade (silver spector as RE calls it) in Nov with delivery promised in mid March 2019. The booking was more of a heart over mind decision on that day as the test ride was barely a kilometer long. So had made it clear to the dealer that i will cancel my booking if i do not get a better/longer test ride. They called me last week and got an Int650 in Orange to my place. I could have it for myself for 4 hours but i could not last on the saddle for over an hour. The stock handle bars are just way too low for my liking (i am 6 foot 3" and not really heavy). Being so used to the awesome seating/riding posture of my B5, this felt like a punishment  :(...and those foot pegs...oh god are they awkardly placed...again may be because i am used to the B5. My wrists started hurting, my back felt unconfortable and the that stock seat is nothing to write about either (though it is easier to fix) So i have decised to wait it out for a few months even if i am offered delivery in March. I honestly do not know if it is just me or if RE did not think this through. Was it a design challenge? Do they not want anyone over 6 feet to buy this? I don't know...I guess i can get used to the foot pegs but surely not the riding posture. So unless i find a good reliable solution to raise the bars, i am most likely going to stick to my B5.

the odd peg position has come up regularly on youtube clips but they do get use to it.
in a way I don't care that much if I buy one or not! my preference at the moment is to get my hands on a new rolex submariner watch. either bike or watch come in at $10K ea so it doesn't really matter. although the watch would be far harder to get with min 12/24 month wait.
im setting up a new youtube channel so the 650 may come in handy for that. time will tell there.
not sure if it goes ahead how long I will have it but I can say some-one further down the track will get a good deal...lol

Then again, the interceptor looks too have higher bars and more forward pegs that the GT,  in which case I'd complain that the ride position is ridiculous and uncomfortable sitting so upright is not natural. You can't build something to please everyone and someone will always miss out. If that's you, how about just not buying one instead of complaining that the manufacturer has failed you? I mean that in the nicest possible way.

A $10,000 watch is the competition?  :o

By all means, get the watch !!

After you have it for a few weeks,  then, like your past Royal Enfields, you can put it up for sale.

I'm sure the neighbors will be fighting with each other to see who can be the first to your door to buy it.

(Baa-Ha-Ha_Ha.   ;D ;D ;D ;D)   8)

A watch.  :( :(

yeah ...and the funny part is I have 2 watches I've purchased recently for $15k and don't wear either of them ;D
anyway I have 3 weeks to line up a rolex submariner and so far that's near impossible unfortunately I may have no choice but buy the interceptor and weeks later I may have no choice and sell it too...lol
