I found the first third of this article regarding the history of the Ural factory interesting.  The rest of the article describes the latest 2019 Euro 4 version of the Ural Gear Up model and therefore was less interesting, at least to me:

The article says their engine is making 41 HP.
  They don't seem to offer a solo bike.

They used to import a solo model, but I think that bike fell over and they reverted to importing all three-wheelers.  ;)

Don't hold your breath until that EV makes it to the electric motorcycle consumer market - which frankly sucks, as far a sales go. If it ever does, it will cost a fortune due to the cost of the number of batteries needed to power the sidehack.  :o
