I visited my local BMW shop today and they were required to place the attached warning card on every one of their motorcycles, both new and used.    I hope that made some regulator happy.    What will be next?  The mind boggles.

I'm amazed they haven't linked Oxygen to Cancer.
Think about it.
100% of the people (and animals) that have died of cancer ALL breathed O2. Coincidence?

The problem with voter-approved propositions in California are that many of them have unanticipated consequences that can bite you in the butt - while making lawyers rich, fat and happy.

I purchased a crescent wrench with the same warning, but, at least I am warned that if I eat a wrench, there may be adverse consequences.

People seem to have a deep seated religious need to fear something, since the end of the cold war and reduced likelihood of destruction of the planet, we had to find some other evil spirit to worry about. The decline of organized religion has left a void for the new age liberals.  Replacement for traditional religious practices for this new age includes the regular attendance at the alter of the Church of the Holy Carbon Footprint.   Global warming, cancer from crescent wrenches fill this deep seated religious need.  Repent for the end is near due to crescent wrenches.

It is now. The state just passed a law making it legal to ride electric push scooters in the street, dicing with automobile traffic, and without a helmet, training, endorsement, gloves, boots and in San Francisco, probably without any clothes.    Let the carnage begin.

If you're concerned, you can always retrofit that dangerous crescent wrench like this one to ameliorate its perilous "wrenchiness"...

And we're back:  The People's Republic has a new "Progressive" Governor (he plans to run for President in a few years) who has never seen a tax that he didn't like - so that he can use the money to help out the "less fortunate" (who don't pay taxes), of course.  The latest new tax that he is proposing is a tax on drinking water.     If that flies, air will be next.  Of that I have no doubt. 

At least he does plan to kill our $100 billion "high speed rail" project. Now it will only go rapidly back and forth a short distance between two cities in the Central Valley.  The beauty of that idea is that most people want to leave those cities for someplace nicer and with less crime and the amount of traffic that will be generated by this train to nowhere and the revenue's received for the trip likely won't even pay for the automatic ticket machine concession costs.   

In further news, this from the Republic's favorite city: San Francisco has just removed 30 designated motorcycle parking spaces in the downtown area and converted that area into a rest area for six Samtrans bus drivers to park when taking their breaks.  So you can see where that city's priorities lie.
