I sat on them both today at the NYC show and I am very impressed. Going to be a GT, I think, in white or blue. They may be offering it with the stepped 2 person seat, with a clip on cowl for the more traditional look. I loved that seat. Also, the bars were not so low and the position so aggressive that it was uncomfortable. Two thumbs up if I had two.

The 270 crank angle gives them the essentials of a 90 V Twin with the compactness and traditional look of a parallel twin.

I am not as concerned about the actual bike as I am about the company. Since they pushed Kevin out, the company has dropped parts support of old models,  showed very poor results at bringing on a dealer network, and turned a deaf ear to nearly all of its previous customers like us.

From the response I saw at the NYC bike show yesterday, I think the 650s are going to be a big home run and should change the dealer landscape pretty quickly. The 650s drew by far the most attention followed by the Himalayan and the battle green Classic. My beloved Classic Chrome? I didn't see anyone checking it out even though I spent a fair amount of time at the RE section and the Triumph section right next to it.
