Is there a listing of compatible tires for the various RE models?  The only thing useful I've found are the Shinko 705s
2017 Bullet
2007 Ural Patrol - the 'trol

As always Hitchcocks provides useful easily accessible information at http://accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/tyres  But with your exception nothing useful at the tire manufacturers and retailers.  Most don't even list RE as a choice and the few that do are pre-UCE.

Part of the problem is a lot of Enfields use old-school square tyres (as opposed to low profile) which are generally classified by most manufacturers as "Vintage".  The K70s on my B5 are classified by Dunlop as suited for vintage motorcycles for example.

There is a thread somewhere on these forums with lots of tyre suggestions if you search.

I am on my second set of Dunlop K 70's and am extremely happy with them at all speeds including freeway's in excess of 75 MPH.  The do wear a bit faster than the Avon's that came with the bike but the price is better and being a taller tire improves my top speed.  Also easier to get on and off the centre stand.  Pressure is important and I run 28 front and 32 rear.  Just my opinion, hope this helps you.

Regarding K70 tires - I'm a fan; they look good and ride good.  But I've found they don't last long, you can kill a rear tread in just a few thousand miles.  This has been discussed many times here over the years.

On another forum, someone suggested, "try and get the more expensive Japanese Dunlops as the Indonesian made K70s wear out a lot faster."  This is the first I've heard of such a distinction, and I'm not sure how this could be pursued.  I think that person is in the UK; suppliers there may be able to distinguish between them.  I certainly plan to look into this the next time I purchase K70 tires...

Definitely a lot better than the shopping trolley tyres that came with the bike. Look good as well.

I just checked the K70 tires that I bought from Revzilla during this summer and installed on my B5 a couple of weeks ago.  The front tire is made in Indonesia and the rear tire is made in Japan.  It will be interesting to see how they wear.  The original Slipmaster tires at 6K miles seemed to be have about 2K miles left in front and about 4K miles in the rear, but their were seriously squared off and I felt they should be replaced with winter rains coming along - some day, maybe in December.  ::)

I run Mitas Tyres on my B5 H-01 front and H-02 on the rear.
They look the part but provide good level of grip
