Sorry, having all sorts of problems with this forum. It keeps giving me a data error.

I just picked up a 2005 Bullet 500 Classic with a Cozy sidecar.

The big end is gone. I have the engine torn down. Looking for OEM parts supplier in USA

Best I can offer at this time is for you to call:
Our host, MJ Sales in Fort Worth - (888) 415.8986, or
THE parts guy for RE, Tim Hirdler - (682) 730.2705. He's on Pacific Time, so time your call accordingly.  :)

Welcome aboard and good luck with your project. She's a lovely outfit. I've got a 2005 too, and can assure you it'll be worth the trouble. These Forums and its searchable Archive of past postings are likely to be key resources towards your success. There are a lot of good people here willing to help who really know their stuff. As for issues with the Forum, they've only recently upgraded to new software, so it's been a little "wonky" lately as our long-suffering admins get it all dialed in.

As for parts sources, our Forum hosts, Baker Motorsport in Fort Worth, should be able to get you squared away with most everything you'll need. Lots of folks also get specialty and high performance gear from Hitchcocks Motorcycles in England.

Where are you?

So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.

You might try calling:

Baker Motorsport Co.
8124 West Fwy
Fort Worth, TX 76108
Call us at +1 (817) 834-1392

Ask for Tim.

At one time, Kevin, the guy who owns this site, imported all of the Royal Enfields from India into the USA.

They had all of the parts to totally rebuild all of the old RE's they imported.

Tim worked for them and knows the old Iron barrel like yours like he knows the back of his hand.  He kept up with the changes RE made and is probably the most knowledgeable guy in the US about their parts, from the Iron Barrel thru the AVL Lean Burn to the new UCE's.

Times changed I think a lot of the parts they carried ended up at Baker.  Tim ended up there too.

I'm not sure if they have the parts for your motorcycle but they might.  Only Tim will know for sure.

If they don't have what you need, you can still get all the replacement parts you want or need from Hitchcocks in England.

They have it all.  The only problem is if you live in the USA, it takes a while for their shipment to get here and, their prices are moderately high.

A lot of the stuff you will find on the web might also work.  Most of it is from India and while some of it is fine,  some if it is pretty shoddy.

I don't know what these database errors are telling you, but your messages are posting just fine.

Good luck with your bike bike and your parts search.

I get one post out of about ten tries. Have tried from Ipad and computer same thing. Not working very good at all for me.

Tim lives in Californium and works out of his home taking orders and offering incredibly knowledgeable advice. If not for him my ElectraX would probably still run like factory.

I'm able to reply but can't post new threads. Unable to contact administrators either. Messages won't send. Have tried multiple devices...nothing works.
