I have be searching the internet for risers for the C5 with no luck. There has to be a set available somewhere.

Bmadd34 -- I doubt such things exist.  Contact Tim (Parts Man) at CMW or visit BikeMaster for handlebar replacements.  Depending on height, a new brake hose may be needed.  Everything else seems to have enough excess length.

Hmmm -- lower seat and higher bar -- what is the look you are going for? :)

Not really so much looks as it is comfort. One would think simple bolt on riser would suffice, such as these http://www.upisgarage.fi/shop/tuote/1-14-rise-domed-risers/?v=f0aa03aaca95.

Once you reflect on qhow Enfield handlebars are attached, you'll see why risers won't work.

It isn't just the control cables and brake hose, you need to think about the switchgear wiring too.

I suppose if the two clamp bolts were to be removed ... on either side of the stem nut.  And find a set of risers , where the mounting bolt goes through the inside of the new riser and threaded into the existing holes ?  Rubber isolated ones maybe even better ?  It might work  ?    You'd probably block the ignition switch and key though, with the new bar location. And the area where the original bar was clamped in, may look unfinished ?

Hitchcocks do a set of 'riser' bars, as fitted as standard to the Indian market Thunderbird model:

PART No. 93050
HANDLEBARS, HIGHRISE **needs longer b/cable**, 800mm Long 170mm rise

http://accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/accessory-shop/handlebars/11774

These may offer sufficient rise without the need to re-work the clamping mechanism.

I use these:

No modification needed, and easy to adjust position.

Because I replaced the original with a digital one, of course it didn't quite fit the hole so I had to improvise...

dickim -- Brn is +12 ignition power (ECU Pin 1) and Wht/Red is switched (ECU Pin 18).  If your gauge wants a trigger then use the Wht/Red wire.  If you are going to tap into the wire, do it on the coil side.  Coils are cheap and easy to replace; chassis wiring harnesses aren't.  Publish pictures when you are done please.

Thx for te reply -  Sorry, should have been clearer - looking for what colour of wires on the TACHO UNIT  :) I have an RPM pickup / trigger lead on the Guzzi loom which works Guzzi Tacho fine (unit too big and slow-hence the aftermarket unit), but the aftermarket unit I have (same as shown in orig post) doesn't seem to respond - have narrowed it down (I think) to 2 wires 1 being for rpm & the 1 for fuel level, but can't seem to get the unit to trigger. The coil / ignition units on a Guzzzi are BLOODY expensive, even 2nd hand, so wary of going direct :(

I tried to get the rpm working, but the problem is that the gauge doesn't have the correct setting for a single cylinder without wasted spark. For a while I thought about tapping into the signal from the alternator or from crank position sensor but finally I just gave up. I'll attach the instructions for my gauge. (Ignore my added notes :) ) The wire colors may not be same but I think the positions are.

The UCE doesn't use a fancy Hall sensor; it uses the simpler cheaper variable reluctance sensor for crankshaft (not camshaft) position.  The two sensors have widely varying characteristics.

If your tachometer can accept a Kettering ignition coil trigger, then your diagram is correct -- Wht/Red ECU Pin 18.
