I decided I wanted to get the Low Seat for my C5 after thinking on it for almost a month. Of course, now that I want it, I can't find it. hitchcocks is sold out, CMW is sold out and Royal Enfield themselves are sold out. None on Ebay or Amazon. Any other suggestions?

well it looks like the standard c5 seat without the springs attached. what about if you remove the seat and take a look at the mounting point - you may be able to remove it and with minor mods set up your old seat to go back on.
either way its worth a try and I think you could do some-thing. I've attacked plenty of these bikes ;) and its not as if your attacking a $30k plus special - plus you might save yourself a few $$$ too

Story of my life too.  ;D

Check Biltwell's Slimline (https://www.biltwellinc.com/c33/buy/slimline/) for lower height.  I'm believe the Biltwell folks or Tim at CMW can provide details on RE-specific fitment.

I concur with wildbill on exploring changes to C5 seat mount, especially the front bushing which has a square shaft.

Called all over the country pretty much, but I found one in Tennessee. It'll be here Friday-Saturday.

The low seat arrived today. I installed it and, well, I'll post a video here in a bit.

Some of these things get scarce when I need'em, picked up my low profile seat in the used accessories section of Hitchcocks for $50+s/h, about $80 in the end.
