I've just looked at the site you posted earlier Richard. This one looked somehow acceptable too as a racer, wouldn't mind trying it before turning too old for it.

It am not very happy that the press has declared all new bikes the likes of a Thruxton R to be retro bikes, just because they look good. That way you could call any new 911 Porsche a retro car and nobody would say that.

It is all about marketing and "retro" is just the latest trendy marketing term - along with "fake news".   ::)

Well I kind of like it, diversity in the EV market can't be a bad thing - and than followed by a tough competition.   ::)

Can't be too hard to stuff a bigger battery in it, or what about a ICE  ::)

I don't really want to get into speculation of the future of EV's but I think it's not going to be the same for bikes, cars or trucks, totally different markets. I like bikes because it is still about emotions and liking, four wheel vehicles are loosing on those soft values and human factors. Sure you can regulate the exhaust noise for example but you can't regulate if it's a pleasant noise or irritating one. And exactly here is the thing that makes the difference which is why some people buy a ducati and others an inline four japanese bike.

If you want to hear an irritating EV noise, check out the sound that an Energica electric motorcycle makes. It comes close to dragging your nails across a blackboard.  :o

....don't want to hear it, better do some other shed project.  ::)

...or take a nap. They soon going to attach a speaker to that bike anyway with a v-twin sound.

Truly innovative would be if it had a solar panel attached to the roof producing 100kW of power in darkness.  ;)

Soon to be seen on the 405. Gavin, Moonbeam and Nancy are gonna buy every illegal alien one to get to work in.

And that weasel Bacerra will help them. And Eric Holder will lend a hand, also.

You poor bastards who can't get out are trulyfucked.

(No, there isn't one bad enough to fit).
