Revzilla's Spurgeon Dunbar didn't mince words with his first review of the Himalayan after the initial US launch:

The comments at the bottom of the article itself ripped apart the Himalayan to some extent #hatersgonnahate)

Dunbar has followed up quickly with another honest analysis from the RENA top dogs:

I take reviews with a grain of salt. It’s an a opinion of one person most of the time. My dealer tells me mine should be in soon, maybe this Thursday. ???? I have over 30 motorcycles in my stable. I believe it’ll be the perfect bike for what I want it to do for me. If you’re unsure, best to wait and take one out for a test ride to see if it’ll work for you.
REs I currently own:
2007 AVL Bullet Electra Gray
2010 Bullet G5 Deluxe Black
2017 535 GT Continental Red
2018 Himalayan White
2018 Pegasus Green
2024 650 Super Meteor Celestial Blue

Took a test ride (in India), put a deposit down (in the US) and also still playing the waiting game at this point.  8)
