So what's the longest trip you guys have taken on your GT's? Back in January of 2016 I took a 580 mile overnight round-trip from my home in Spring Texas just north of Houston all the way up to Paris Texas just a few miles from the Oklahoma border Northeast of Dallas. Just had a small backpack just big enough to hold a change of clothes with me.

I'm sure he didn't do that in one day, about how many miles a day do you think?

That's not what you asked. You asked how long was the longest trip we'd done. Mine was over 5 days. Very good fun. Longest day trip was 790km.  That good enough for you?

Didn't I was going to ruffle your feathers asking how many miles you put in your longest day on that trip. No need to be butthurt Burt, it was just a question.

My longest trip so far was 490kms,

Then I had to stop for fuel before continuing onwards with my journey, but that was on a B5 so probably doesn't count ;)

Never underestimate the value of improved combustion efficiency and reducing parasitic engine and rolling chassis losses.

I did 275 in one day. Don't think I'd want to go much over 200 in one day. And I'm a triathlete. I'm used to putting in over a hundred miles on a carbon fiber bike with a very aggressive Aero position.
