Hi guys,

New to forum ,hope I,am posting in right place?.

I have just put  a deposit on the new efi model which is due in the UK sometime next month.
Have never ridden an enfield ,just saw the back end of an electra, and thought wow got to have one.I have not even sat on one.

It seems strange why everyone seems to falling in love with 5o+ year old designed british bikes.

anyway when the thumper turns up I'll post some pics if I may?

Mark:)

 Hello Mark ,
The UK sounds like the perfect place to ride a RE.
Maybe someday I'll get to try.I would have to consentrat on remembering which side of the road is proper.
  Look forward to pictures
 Enjoy.

Hi REposer,

Yes limesville is a good place for that type of bike, plenty of minor roads for a good ride.
There seems to be quite a few Americans on youtube who love  the Enfields,Perhaps more history and character than a Harley??.

Anyway my uncle has an electra(which is the bike  I saw the back end of in his shed)
gave a great accolade as he has been riding BMW bikes for forty years, said the RE was the best bike he has ever had.

Has anybody on this forum got the efi,and are people happy about the introduction of fuel injection 15 or so years behind everybody else.

Mark ;)

;)Hopefully since RE is so far behind the power curve with EFI possibly they will not go through the same growing pains as every other manufacturer did.  Will be waiting on you to introduce us first hand to the "new" technology.  Enjoy the ride.  Will.
