I'm very excited to report that we have a new RE dealer in the Northwest, Paradise Harley Davidson in Beaverton, Oregon.   :) They are the best Harley dealer in the area, I have all three of my Harleys serviced there. Chad the rep from RE called me and gave me the good news this morning.   :D Less than an hour later I had a deposit on a new Himalayan, the first RE to be sold at this dealership.

I’m very encourage with RE fit and finish I saw at the 2018 Dallas Motorcycle Show and the service as-well, thanks Chad!
REs I currently own:
2007 AVL Bullet Electra Gray
2010 Bullet G5 Deluxe Black
2017 535 GT Continental Red
2018 Himalayan White

Great news. Good idea for Harley dealers to find ways to augment their falling sales.

Thanks for the tip! I've gone ahead and added Paradise Harley-Davidson in Tigard, Oregon (just south of Beaverton or southwest of Portland) to a handy Google Map of Royal Enfield Dealerships in USA and Canada, which anyone can edit or add to.

I thought such a phone-accessible interactive map of Royal Enfield shops with contact and other info might be really useful for those who, like me, might want to do a little longer-distance touring than the occasional weekend snort and could use a visual guide to the distribution of the nearest "ports in a storm" for service or parts en route.  I expect it might also be useful for those looking to get their hands on a Royal Enfield of whichever type, new or used.  If you know of a new dealership or some fine local shop who may have been a past dealership shed in the recent "shakeup," but which can still sort out a limping Bullet, then don't be shy! By all means feel free to add them to the map! It is very easy to do.

As for any Harley-Royal Enfield dealerhip mashup, to me it seems perfectly obvious that they would go together like franks and beans.  In fact, it seems a far larger than typical proportion of interested people approaching me during stops of my own 2005 Bullet 500ES "Military" have turned out to have been Harley folks. I'd say the two marques have a very similar traditionalist "vibe."
So badass my Enfield's actually illegal  in India. Yet it squeaks by here in Virginia.

Awesome dealership news Morgan60, and congratulations on the new Himalayan!   8)

I ride around the Portland area on my C5 a few times a year (while my wife visits her mother) and will have to stop in to Paradise HD/RE next time. On our last visit I made it up to Mt Hood.  :)

Perhaps this could be a destination for our Washington State Bullet Owners annual ride out from Seattle to Portland (via country backroads) this summer?  ::)

We have Seattle Triumph RE up here. Also a very good fit for RE.  ;)

My new Himalayan is being unloaded at my dealer in Beaverton, OR as I type this. ???? I hope I can pick it up by this Saturday, but I’m not going to put any pressure on them to do so.

Congratulations! Enjoy the new bike! These things should be getting inspected at the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) center in Texas already so your dealer should not have much to do by way of inspection. Hope you got your hands on it this past weekend.
So I'm assuming RENA has finally started shipping the Himalayans out from the Texas PDI center? My own dealer in Buffalo doesn't seem to have heard a peep from RENA so far but I'm hoping this is the week I get some some good news. i can't wait for them to take the rest of my money.  ;D

Sorry guys, Faults Alarm. My buddy that has a deposit on one as well called me when my dealer was unloading four crates from a shipment from RE saying two of the crates was are Himalayans. DRATS!!!!

Chad from RE called me yesterday telling me they are shipping Himalayas this week and I should have mine by next week. He also said the panniers are now being shipped from RE in India so we should have them soon to follow.

I have heard that there will be a new RE dealer in Spokane, WA but haven’t been able to confirm. Does anyone here have any information? I’m in North Idaho with a 2015 C5 and the closest dealers are in Seattle and Salem,OR.

The owner of the dealership called me last evening, telling me my Himalayan is in finely. He said they have uncreated it and it looks better than he expected. He said it’ll be ready this morning, Yay!!!

Just arrived at Seattle Royal Enfield / NW Moto / Seattle Triumph… 3 brand new Himalayans!  These were pre-ordered, so already sold (couldn’t sit on them). I did poke the seat on one with my finger though, and it felt pretty good!  They really looked great. More will be coming soon.  :)

I will be test riding a Triumph Tiger this weekend as part of a local promotion, but at $15,850.00 for the 800cc, and 21,750.00 for the 1200cc,  :o  I do believe that I would prefer the Himalayan which comes with the astonishing price point of $4,500.00  8)

I just noticed... Those Himalayans all have two front fenders!  :o What's up with that? Is it only RE, or is that an adventure bike thing? ???

I just don't understand that styling!  Especially where RE has just tacked that beak on.  Does it look worse without it?

If it bothers you, you can remove the fender.  If you do mostly road remove the top one. If off road is mostly your thing remove the one closest to the tire. Myself I do on road most of the time and we get a lot of rain here in the NW so the fender closet to the tire works good to keep the spray down. The looks of both fenders doesn’t bother me so I’ll keep both on the bike for now.

BMW did it first, why? who knows. Then everybody copied them, why Group stupidity? If I do buy that Himalayan the first thing I'll be doing is to take off the high fender, useless anyway and in high crosswinds acts like a sail, as any KLR rider.
