Whose bike has the most miles on it? Apart from service items what else has it needed?
Mine has done 6,500 miles and hasn't needed anything.

Mine had about 6600 miles when it was stolen.  Ran great. No problems.

My 2012 C5 has just barely 4200 miles, a battery & a low fuel light sender so far...but it's early yet.
My 2002 I/B is another story, though a lot of upgrades, TWO tail light assemblies,  THREE (3) flat tire repairs...on the same tire (rear), one valve job & multiple tappet adjustments. Aside from those inconveniences, it's been a pretty noble machine...but it has less than 3200 miles on it. (bought it with 1700 miles on it.)

My GT has 29581 km's or 18380 miles on it. Had to fix the tail light wiring as it broke wires from the vibration, Uses Oil still but will fix soon. Otherwise it's great.

My 2014 CGT has only about 5000 miles on it.  The worst problem I had was a pinched wire under the tank that was blowing the EFI fuse.  This was probably my fault, since the wire was rearranged while installing the PC-V.
Love my CGT. Still get great comments every time I ride it.

Cheers...Jimmy

Apart from the odometer having a mind of it's own each winter, my 2014 GT gave no trouble before I sold it after 8,000 miles.

I decided to part company with it before anything expensive went wrong with it.

My B5 has had...
Two 6203 rear hub bearings, first went at 4,200 miles, second at 17,600 miles.

Original chain replaced at 18000 miles, front and rear sprockets and a new chain fitted at 26,800 miles

6 new tyres plus oil and filter changes every 3,500 miles.

One blown side light bulb -  replaced with an led as was the other side and the headlamp park bulb at same time.

New battery fitted as a precautionary measure prior to touring abroad.
Never underestimate the value of improved combustion efficiency and reducing parasitic engine and rolling chassis losses.

Just traded mine in for a Triumph thruxton. In three years I had it, it had a leaky kick start o ring, sending unit gasket that leaked gas onto the engine a broken spoke and a dry rotted or cracked breather hose. Seems like the rubber parts aren't the best. All these issues were fixed under warranty but when the warranty ended I had no problems for the last season I owned it. Still. I decided to trade it in before something happened that I would have to pay for. Plus I fell in love with the Thruxton! I must say the gentleman in charge of warranty work , Brad Sexton was great to deal with. Everybody's correct, that bike sure drew a lot of attention-and compliments.

32,000km. No major dramas. A few popped bulbs,  uses a bit of oil and blew a couple fuses one day.  It's done several interstate tours,  commuting,  scratching in the hills and the odd track day.  Only reason it doesn't have 50,000km is I have too much other garbage to ride.  It's not faultless by any means but it's earned it's keep.  Oh yer,  the tacho is broken. Fixed the clocks bracket x2 and the muffler bracket x1.

30000 Kms here, all sorts of problems including an accident where the chassis and the front forks were replaced.
1) Throttle cable changed at 21000 Km as part of service.
2) Headlamp unit was changed to LED because the default was way too... not powerful enough?
3) Cluster chrome rings have become loose and almost popping.
4) Had to change breather pipe every 3000 Km, because the rubber keeps tearing at the bend beneath the tank. Seriously low quality rubber.
5) Speaking of tanks, changed the tank at 25000 Km because the vibrations of the vehicle snapped the weld beneath the tank leading to fuel leaking and emptying overnight.
6) Tail lamp keeps burning out every 4000 Km or so.
7) Changed rear tire at 21000 Km.
8) Clutch assembly gave way at 24000 Km.
9) Chain has been replaced twice.
10) Rear brake cable was replaced once after it snapped.

Apart from this, the bike seems to need tuning more often than required. Oil leaking at random times, throttle cable getting jammed, gear shift travel increases dramatically in span of days. Random full body vibrations creeping out of nowhere. I've had a love hate relationship with this bike, more hate than love. Love only for a week after it gets serviced, hate it post that when I have to take the bike with one problem or the other.

Done 10,000 Kilometers on my GT in the duration of 4 months (bought it brand new) and had the following issues:
-Defective gas tank
-2 dead batteries
-4 burned brake lights (probably due to the batteries)
-6 broken spokes after 3 weeks from the date I took it out of the dealership
-Leaking shock absorber
-Horn bracket broke 5 times due to vibrations
-Instrument cluster broke once due to vibrations

The dealership handled this in a professional way and haven't said a word and just replaced all that's need under warranty. I did write an email to Royal Enfield support though and they replied that they will reach out to me but even after reminding them several times - no one reached out. This is the worst customer support I've ever seen, people there need to wake up.

PS  - doesn't say much for the continuing lack of quality control by RE.
