Got some time finally, and getting ready for a post winter ride.

- Torque Head. Re-adjust pushrods. Check.
- new plug. Check.
- oil and filter change. Check
- pulled carb... looks like it leaked into the chamber. Damn. Clean it. Check
- battery charged. Reinstalled. Check
- check electrics. No brake light. Hmmm.
- lube cables.  Check
- spokes and tires. Check.
- check tank (pulled it); something rattling around inside. Hmmmm
- brakes/fluid. Check

Gotta chase a few things.

What’s your routine?

I think I'll still be another month or so. My ability to deal with the cold (or even cool) has been getting incrementally more difficult over the past 30 years. I can't believe I used to work down there almost every day (and at night) on a bike or a car or some other project right through the winter.

It's still in the 20sF here when I get up at 6:00 and it's still 30F now at 10:00.

Both the bike and I are tuned more for May or June, not April. and we'll both run better then. (I'm hoping for May because I am really, really sick of this winter).

What I would really like to do, and probably won't, is drain the gas and put it away for the mower, pull the tank, really shake, rattle and roll it with some new fuel and then reinstall it and refill it with totally new fuel. It has StaBil and ethanol fighter in it, but it really should be totally drained. We'll see.
