Pretty interesting. The CGT has never sold very well in India, but these latest sales  figures for Indian probably represent less than what a good single dealer in the US can sell in a month.

I think there is ZERO chance that the CGT will be discontinued in India and certainly not in western markets. Being one of the anchors of the new twin platform and decent sales in the west makes it all but impossible.

I'm sure hoping that the bigger engined GT will breath life back into the bike.  The sales have dropped on the GT.  Our local shop only sold one GT in the last year...

Well, whomever wrote that article referenced above certainly thought that the CGT would be discontinued by RE, and soon. I guess we will know for sure in the near future, probably around the time that the 650 hits the market.  ???

The 535 lump may be discontinued to be replaced by the 650. I doubt the Continental GT itself will be dropped from the line any time soon.
No matter where you go, there, you are.

RE could have done many things to promote the bike in India. When I ride my Gt here in India most people think its a modified Yezdi/Jawa.

They are cashing in on the sales of the classic range. Even dealers don't promote the bike, at least they could have used the engine and chassis for the classic models
