The Bullet is beautiful, characterful, clunky, and forgiving; it’s like the MG B-type (a car after which I lusted as a teen) of motorcycles.
I think that is a very good comparison. The MGBs were honest solid cars with moderately sporty pretentions - never powerful enough (at least not the 1798cc ones) to get you into trouble, but possessed of a certain class and style from a (slightly) bygone era.
There were the sportier versions, like the V8 or the straight six 2.2 litre triumph engined ones, but the examples of these I drove always gave the impression that the engine's power comfortably exceeded the chassis' & brakes' ability to cope with it.
