Hi Everyone,
I am in the process of buying a 2004 Royal Enfield. Up until now I thought the bike was a 4-speed 500 ES classic but I just noted that the side covers say sixty-5 on them. Does this just mean it has a 5-speed gear box? Do all the accessories for the 500 ES classic still apply to this bike?

Yes it is a 5 speed, the first year for it.  I also have a Sixty-5.  The Sixty means this model is styled as a 1960's motorcycle.  I changed mine to the classic style, solo seat, small turn sigs, etc.  The Sixty-5 is confusing to people, they will think it is the model year or the cc's.  Same engine as all the rest, just has a better transmission.
