Hello everybody, I have a few questions on a head rebuild for my cast iron bullet 500.
The inlet valve guide is slightly loose and can be popped out with little effort. Question - should I replace with one size over? Can I keep running without changing this guide? I have previously destroyed 2 sets of guides whilst installing/removing so am not really comfortable going down the guide replacement unless necessary
Also, I bought a mikcarb replacement carburettor and have been sent a Pacco carb..... how do I tune this? Thank you.

Use bronze guides that fit.
Heat the head to 300°F before removing/refitting.
Driving them out/in cold is what causes trouble. Same with bearing changes.

Just make sure the Mrs is out when you pop it in the oven! :D
