Before I got mine, someone said that I would be too big for the bike. Yes my knees don't exactly tuck right into the gas tank pads, but that's fine with me. Part of it's appeal was the size, and ease of handling.

I was wondering how tall (or not so tall) the average rider is. I'm a bit over 6'-2" and find the Enfield to be very comfortable.

I'm 6'3" and very comfortable on mine, even on longer rides.

From my waist up I'm over six feet, from my waist down I'm 5'10" .  ;)

But comfortable, I am.

6' 2" - I always thought these bikes were too small - until I rode one - then I realised that less is more  ::)

I'm 6' even with a 34" inseam and find the bike just right. I'm going to get a solo seat, though, because the stock bench seat bumps my tailbone too much and makes it sore.

I think the bike's neutral riding position makes rider size somewhat immaterial. I am 5' 7" and find it comfortable. A Friend of mine sat on it the other day and found it just as comfy at about 6' 3".

Yes, but I think that the stock seat could be too high for some people...  My wife is 5'6" and can't put both her feet flat on the ground, and that's uncomfortable at stops where the ground may slope off to one side.  That's why she rides a Buell Blast, which has a lower seat.

Scotty, get rid of that tapeworm.

I'm 6'2 and 215 lbs and find the RE comfortable.

There is an Indian manufactured Low Dual Seat which reduces the seat height by approximately 3cm. They have achieved this by reducing the padding, therefore on rough terrain the tail bone will get a whacking. Best option is probably a solo seat with a pillion pad fitted if required.

I would castegorize my size as xx moose 6'3" and 255 pounds.  I think the RE is very comfortable to ride, even though I may look a little large for it.  I put the classic solo seat on mine and sit a litle higher on it.  I suppose I fit it as well as the old knucklehead Harleys.  Will.

5'10" and about 170 lbs, and the stock seat feels just fine to me.  I tried a solo they had at the dealer but it felt a little, uh, personal, for my liking.
