Hi Guys,

All of a sudden my Gt is facing erratic idling issues, I tried to figure out the problem..and it seems one of the grey rubber tube/hose from the bottom of the FI throttle body is disconnected.

I can't figure out as to where it connects, when I close the end of the hose with my thumb it the idle becomes stable.

Attaching pictures for your reference.

Also my trip meter is not working. Diplaying only Trip 1 and pressing the reset button does nothing.

I was just having  a wild guess 'cause mine doesn't have that hose. How about seeing where that hose will reach and see if theres anything in that radius that will connect to. Or shove a ball bearing in the hose and call it good. And wash yer bike! :P

I peeped under the tank from where it seems to be disconnected. I didn't get time otherwise I would have just opened the tank.

Yeah its been quite a while some I gave the bike a proper wash but I can't help it as torrential rains here in Mumbai have been relentless since June..monsoon seems to over I guess.

...Bringing new problems to the Gt such as a weird behaving Speedo meter and trip meter..

A GT sold in India would not have the charcoal canister however it would come with a PAV system. This hose could be part of it, it's not on my GT.

It kind of looks like the drain hose from under the gas cap on my 14 (US) GT.  No reason for it to affect running.  Other then fuel line there's no hoses connected to the injector.

Sorry I can’t help about the pipe but I think the drain pipe from the top of the tank is narrower than that.

Regarding the erratic trip meter, I’ve had mine stop working towards the end of two winters. The odometer sometimes reverts to kilometres and the button won’t toggle between total mileage and trip A & B.

Both times it has sprung to life when spring and the warmer weather arrives so I’m assuming it’s an issue with damp.
